Product Specialist (Education Part) - India


[Product Specialist Team Introduction]

The PS Team is part of the Marketing & Product Specialist Group under Meditʼs Commerce Division. It plays a crucial role in providing in-depth product expertise, technical support, and training. The team ensures that both customers and internal teams can fully utilize Meditʼs products while incorporating market feedback into product improvements and strategic planning. Additionally, they work closely with the sales team and partners to effectively communicate product advantages and optimize user experience. 


[About the Role]

The Product Specialist (Education Part) will be responsible for pre-sales and post-sales support, focusing on dealer training, user education, and increasing product adoption through structured training programs. This role aims to enhance customer satisfaction and sales enablement by ensuring users fully understand and utilize Meditʼs products effectively. 


[Key Responsibilities]

·     Pre-Sales Support

  • Conduct product demonstrations at exhibitions, dealer events, and seminars.
  • Provide training to dealers and sales teams to improve product knowledge.
  • Assist in the development of localized training materials for different markets. 

·     Post-Sales Support

  • Lead User Seminar Programs to provide tailored user education and training.
  • Address user feedback and support clinics with best practices for product usage.  
  • Track and analyze customer satisfaction metrics to improve training content. 

·     Internal Collaboration & Market Insights

  • Gather feedback from dealers and users to support product improvements.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align training with regional strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Strategy Team to enhance education materials. 

 

[Requirements]

  • This role is an expansion due to coverage challenges. The new hire will work alongside existing members, primarily covering major cities in India. 
  • Must be fluent in English, covering major cities with the existing PS team 

 

[Skills & Experience]

  • Bachelorʼs degree in a relevant field (Dental, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, or related areas). 
  • 3+ years of experience in product training, sales support, or the dental/medical industry preferred. 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for training sessions. 
  • Ability to travel regionally for training, events, and dealer support. 
  • Tech-savvy – comfortable using digital tools, CRM systems, and online training platforms. 

 

[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Experience in CAD/CAM, intraoral scanners, or digital dentistry is a plus. 
  • Background in dealer management, product education, or pre-sales training
  • Previous clinical or technical sales experience in the dental industry is beneficial. 

 

[Additional Notes]

  • The selected candidates will be trained at HQ before deployment to their respective markets.
  • While this role is primarily focused on education, there is flexibility for career growth into the Clinical part based on experience and preference.
  • The role requires international travel as part of regional education and support efforts.

  • Remote work (Traveling required within India)
